The USA Section of the International College of Dentists had the opportunity to stay at the Tysons Corner Courtyard Marriott for our second Applied Strategic Planning Session hel in July. In hearing the numerous compliments from our Fellows and facilitators, I would like to formally thank you and your entire staf for an event that exceeded expectations.
Everything from the Courtesy at Check-In to the efficiency at Check-Out was exceptional. The scheduled meeting room services and restaurant services were efficient and delicious. Particularly noteworthy was the response to questions and queries from our group to fine tune our events and ensure all was in place for an effective meeting... great coordination and much appreciated. Noteworthy too was the ability of your audio-visual team to accomodate our presenter with all the electronics.
We would especially like to thank Marie Blaise for her continued support and exceptional performance in seeing that the needs and sometimes emergent requirements of our group were met. She is a true professional. Also noteworthy were Dawit Abera, Hagos Gidey, Mohammed Rahman and Hessam Take. We found themto be an exceptional crew to work with during our stay at the Marriott.
Thank you again for making our meeting both memorable and productive.

Just wanted to touch base with you and let you know that you and your staff played an excellent part in helping to make our biannual reunion a success. Not one complaint was heard. The food at the banquet was excellent and you and your staff went above and beyond in helping me to organize the banquet. Sorry, I got a little overwhelmed with the tours but you and your staff helped me to pull it off. When it was time for the banquet to be over no one was ready to leave which I think is a good sign! I would highly recommend your hotel to anyone and if we ever get a chance to come back Courtyard Tysons Corner will be our choice hotel.

Thank you for all your assistance in preparing lodging facilities and shuttle services for the wedding. Everything went off without a glitch. We sincerely appreciate you having made the rooms available to us for early check in as many of us were traveling from out of town and shuttling people from the airports. I checked into your hotel [Courtyard by Marriott Tysons Corner] on... I am thrilled to say I had a wonderful stay!
I want to share with you that Dennis Chen, a member of your front desk staff, was exceptionally pleasant. Whenever I needed directions, he would walk me outside to the main entrance of the hotel, and literally point the directions in regards to where I should go, and tell me how many turns I should take. This was extremely helpful since I am a "visual" person. In addition to directions, Mr. Chen was also willing to answer any questions I had while staying at your hotel. Mr. Chen should be commended for the exemplary customer service he provided.

I wanted to extend an overdue thank you to you for all your work to pull together our social there on the 16th. You were such a pleasure to work with and everything turned out wonderfully.
Everyone raved about the food especially those mini cheeseburgers and potatoes that I continue to hear about nearly two weeks later! I will have to return just so I can try them since that ship had sailed by the time I finally got to the food! Please extend my thanks to the Chef for a job well done.

I would like to take this opportunity to commend one of your most outstanding staff members as the Tysons Corner Courtyard in Fairfax, VA, Valerie Wilcox. My husband was in DC on business staying at the hotel when he awoke in severe pain and wasn't able to move. He phoned me by cell phone saying he had significant pain in his abdomen and wasn't able to move. I told him I would get him help. I phoned the hotel's front desk telling the lady who answered the phone (Valerie) that my husband was staying by himself at the hotel on business, provided her his room number, his health situation, and his need of an ambulance. I told Valerie that I do not live in the local area and gave her my number asking if she could phone me when the ambulance arrived.
Valerie not only phoned me when the ambulance arrived but again when the ambulance carried my husband out. Not living in the local area I touched base with Valerie numerous times throughout the morning informing her of my intentions on driving up and how I would obtain the vehicle my husband had in the hotel's parking garage. Valerie passed my information to the General Manager, Sandra, and reassured me that it was okay to stay in my husband's hotel room.
Upon my husband's return to the hotel, Valerie continued to ensure his needs were being looked after to include arranging a ride with the hotel's driver to the local CVS Pharmacy. Valerie showed great compassion and caring for my husband's well-being which I will forever be thankful. What an outstanding employee you have greeting and welcoming guests to your hotel.

I wanted the [Courtyard by] Marriott [ Tysons Corner] to know that I am very grateful to Alex, who works the late night shift, at the reservations desk. I called him, he attempted twice to fax me the bill without success. I live in Armenia, far away from D.C., where systems are not always reliable. I called yet a third time to ask Alex if he would forward my bill to accounting and he kindly did.
I am impressed with your service and professional actions on my behalf.
